The Process

Initial Enquiry

Begin your journey by submitting an enquiry through our 'get started' form. We'll review your current website and have a discussion with you and possibly craft a demo version of what your new site could look like, using live content to illustrate the potential enhancements.

Design & Creation

If the demo or discussion captures your imagination and you're ready to proceed, we'll provide a Dropbox link for you to upload your documents and images. It's the perfect opportunity to refresh your content, so feel free to update text and visuals. You're also welcome to share a layout vision for your site; we value collaboration and are here to discuss your ideas. Drawing from our studio experience, we'll suggest what works best in our industry. If you're looking to integrate studio software, we're on it. Plus, we'll send you a link to create a user profile on Squarespace, Wix, or Website.im, allowing you to begin personalising your site. This is also the point where we send your invoice which will require 50% payment up front.

Finalising Design & Payment

As we finalise the design and prepare for 'go live; we will send you a reminder for the final 50% instalment of the invoice payment. If your website is hosted on Squarespace or Wix - This is also when you'll select a hosting plan. For Squarespace, we often recommend the Basic Business Plan at about $35 monthly. For Wix users, the Business Plan at $44 monthly is our go-to. And for those opting for our own platform, Website.im, the charge is $30 per month. These fees are for hosting and are separate from our service fees. Full payment is needed to move forward with your website's launch.

Going Live!

The launch phase is thrilling as we make your new website live, replacing the old one. We'll need to update your domain server details to point to your new site. This process is quick but may take up to 48 hours to complete, with an additional 24 hours for https setup. During this time, a temporary security alert may appear, which is normal. If your domain was managed by another developer, you might need their assistance to access login details. We're here to help if you encounter any issues.

Up, Up & Away!

With your website now live, we'll arrange a Zoom call to walk you through the basics of managing your site, ensuring you're equipped to make updates independently. If you ever need assistance, we're just a message away for basic support, free of charge. Considering a significant site overhaul in the future? We can discuss new project fees then.
